I need some suggestions from anyone out there. I am the proud owner of an infamous 2000 evenrude 225. Went to lake yesterday, backed into water, started ignition and ck engine light and alarm came on. After a minute, alarm went off, but ck engine light stayed on. Last fall, I had engine overhauled with new piston and injector. Was on lake two weeks ago with no problems. Could this be related to wiring?computer? I have good oil and gas flow. However battery was not fully charged. Anyone have any suggestions for this gal.
