Default carburetors

Hello everyone new to this forum. happy new year everyone! here my ?? check the compression -ok. check the fuel pump -ok. new gas- new spark plugs. check the fuel lines -ok. rebuild carbs.now what the right process for synchronizing the carbs. adjust the top carb first? the bottom one?. I have a yamaha manual don't go to much into details thanks everyone for your help in this matter. [ 1991 yamaha 90hp tlrp ] Dan

Dan,

Synchronizing two carbs is a tricky process and the exact steps for your engine can be found in a shop manual. Here is one online you may want to check out: Yamaha Outboard Shop Manual 90 HP You may also be able to find these shop manuals at your local library.

Also, if you have never calibrated dual carbs before you may want to bring it into a good shop and have it done.
